RAIN IN THE FORECAST?
Don't worry too much. Our magical red dirt trails drain very well. However, there are some rules when it rains:
1 - Trails are CLOSED when it is actively raining. (The paved trails never close)
2- Once the rain stops, wait a couple hours. If the roads are dry, DIRT TRAILS ARE OPEN***!
*** The Krusers Kettle and Cuyuna Connector trails need 24 hours once the rain stops to dry and will remain closed during this drying time.
3- DO NOT RIDE CLOSED TRAILS! The DNR does police the area and will fine or remove those that are riding closed trails.
Want to Night Ride?
DO IT! The parks do close @ 10pm.
We prefer a minimum of 1000 Lumens per light.
1 on your helmet to see where you want to go.
1 on your bike to see where you are going.
using 2 lights like this helps eliminate shadows and allows more depth perception while riding.
